Continuous Copper Casting Facility

This project reflects a multi-level continuous cast copper billet manufacturing facility capable of refining both scrap copper and cathodic copper. The billets are used in the extrusion process for Mueller's adjacent copper pipe plant. JESCO, Inc. designed and constructed the manufacturing facility, building mechanical and electrical systems as well as the process support systems including inert gases, compressed air, furnace cooling water, electrical and controls. Most of the casting equipment was also installed by JESCO.
