Muscle Shoals, AL

This JESCO Construction-Engineering Division and Mechanical-Electrical Division worked together in a team effort on this Design-Build project for CBC INGS America, Inc. CBC INGS America is part of the CBC Group Company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan and manufacturers parts for the automotive industry.

This 68,000 square foot injection molding and metalizing facility in Muscle Shoals, Alabama was constructed using a conventional steel structure, insulated TPO roofing system, and architectural metal wall panels. The exterior of the office space consists of an exterior insulation finish wall system, aluminum storefront windows and entry drive-through portico. To accommodate the Owner’s need for future expansion, the building structure was designed with multiple roof mounted platforms for support of process cooling equipment. The interior of the facility consists of manufacturing spaces including molding and maintenance bays, paint booth, air lock, explosion proof paint / mixing rooms, caustic cleaning room and receiving and shipping areas. Molding and maintenance bays were designed to accommodate two (2) eleven ton overhead cranes. JESCO’s Design Team worked closely with Owner to lay-out and design the mechanical and electrical systems to meet both the building and the process requirements.
