Project Overview

This 304,000 square feet motor manufacturing plant in Columbus, Mississippi is double the size of the Owner’s previous facility. In 2006, the plant received its ISO 9000:2001 certification. Construction included various roof height conventional steel framed structures with narrow rib metal wall system and single ply adhered roofing. The fully air conditioned plant manufactures a variety of electric motors ranging from fifteen to three hundred fifty horsepower with some larger customized motors. The plant proper includes a casting operations, machining operations, painting operations, assembly, motor winding operation, test stands and motor testing, and warehousing/distribution.
