RSA Judicial Office Building

Project Overview

This new office building is a twelve-story, 400,000 square foot facility. The building encapsulates the historic Alabama Supreme Court Building. The structure is a combination of cast-in-place concrete and structural steel, which includes trusses that are 28 foot tall and span 160 feet. The building skin includes precast concrete and curtain wall. Interior work includes venetian plaster restoration of existing courtroom and law library.

Building includes two level parking and a basement that houses electrical and HVAC equipment. The Honor Court features five life size bronze statues of past court Chief Justices.
